This page appears when the primary MSJC website is down when network, power, natural disaster, or another event causes a service disruption on the Mt. San Jacinto College Campus.
If the usual MSJC website is unavailable, MSJC students, faculty, staff and community members can find updates and information here.

SYSTEM: Planned Power Outage Menifee Valley Campus & Blackboard

March 23, 2017

The Facilities Department will be completing preventative maintenance activities on the main electrical distribution system for the Menifee Valley Campus that will require the entire campus to be shut down. In order to minimize the impact to District operations, the outage has been scheduled for Friday, March 24th beginning at 6:30 a.m. until approximately 5:30 p.m. while the college is closed.

This power outage will result in a scheduled system outage of some MSJC provided technology services that are hosted at the Menifee Valley Campus.  The following primary systems will be unavailable during this outage:

  • Blackboard – Students and faculty will be unable to access Blackboard (my.msjc.edu)
  • Instructional Computing Services – Remote Desktop Services RDS (apps.msjc.edu) and Instructional Web Servers
